The following pages have been set up to support the Workforce Hub's project to develop a Sector Qualification Strategy (SQS). To take part in the consultation please click here The pages will be updated regularly with relevant news items, and documents related to the work will be made available to download.
This project is funded by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills and has 3 parts:

At this stage, we have received funding for stages 1 and 2, additional funding is contingent on successful completion of this work. The Workforce Hub is not working to the same time frame as other Standard Setting Bodies (SSB) as we have commenced the work considerably later. As such, we are on a particularly tight timescale. Part 1 LMI work has been completed the reports are available in the downloads section. We have commenced work on the consultation on the Strategy as part of the second stage, this needs to be completed by March 2009. This piece of work is related to our work on setting up a ‘Sector Skills Body’ for the Third Sector - more information can be found here.
